Universal Human Motivators

What are universal motivators?

Human beings are everywhere. As yet their lives are structured to obtain some things in common. These things I call universal motivators.

What are they:

  1. Air, water, food, shelter, comfort, sexuality.
  2. Safety, security, trust.
  3. Love, affection, belonging, acceptance.
  4. Social, religious, cultural, arts related agglomerating.
  5. Possessions, sufficiency, abundance.
  6. Wealth, prosperity recognition, popularity.
  7. Actualisation.

There is another set:

  1. Activating and stimulating.
  2. Recognition - attention, speaking, interacting.
  3. Avoiding boredom, monotony and stereotypy.
  4. Asserting and protecting one's views of self others, life.
  5. Sexual intercourse.
  6. Aspiring to grow and to develop.
  7. Giving, receiving and sharing.
  8. Seeking joy, happiness, peace and respite.
  9. Seeking pleasure and avoiding pain.
  10. Seeking domination over others.
