Reasons for Gap in Communication

This is how it occurs.

  1. What do I wish to convey
  2. What is it that I say
  3. What are the attached verbals
  4. What are the attached non verbals
  5. What is the accompanying noise in communication
  6. How are my sentences structured
  7. How does the receiver listen them
  8. What sense does he or she make of them
  9. What are the spontaneous conclusions
  10. What are the answered or half said or swallowed words
  11. How is the receiver related to me
  12. Is the receiver interacting with me many times a day
  13. What is the frame of the receiver
  14. What is the level of affection or lack of it between us
  15. What is the mood of the receiver

It is important to remember that noise communicates more than content.. This is covered in the topic of cybernetics in in communication in psychology.
