To let go

To let-go of any thought, feeling, emotion or other disturbing mind occupation address your mind as follows:

1. Hey my mind.

2. I like you, I love you, I respect you.

3. I find that you are holding on to this particular thought / feeling / emotion about . . .

4. I request you let go of it.

5. I will do whatever required in the matter.

6. Please let go and return to your restful state of peace.

7. Thank you.

Mind will let-go / give up instantaneously.

Letting go of our past

There is struggle to move forward if someone is holding onto our belt from behind or pulling us back. Similarly past is a drag on us, as we surge on in life.

[1]

Moving on is without any backward pull, when our past is dropped. The past is released like gas filled baloons into the clear sky.

[2]

I followed this simple process and it has worked for me.

I deliberately forget all events that are older than 5 years. If any event older than five years pops up in my mind I ask my mind to give up the memory by saying this:

Oh my mind. I find that you are needlessly occupied with this thought of distant past. I request you, please give it up. Thank you. I will do the needful and the matter.
