Why is are Bronze Medallists happier than are Silver Medallists.
A Silver medalist should be more happy than the Bronze Medallist. But the opposite is true.
The Phenomenon is called COUNTERFACTUAL THINKING.
Research has established that Silver medalist thinks - Oh I couldn't win the gold medal while the Bronze medalist thinks at least I got a medal.
So a Silver Medal is won after losing and
a Bronze Medal is won after Winning.
This happens in our lives too. We don't appreciate what we have but feel sad with what we don't have... Let us be grateful for our blessings and not feel sad for losing out being a topper. 🥇 🥈 🥉.
