Brahman and Atman

It is a very simple thing to understand if our mind is receptive, and free of beliefs and pre-conceptions.

Every single thing is an aspect / part of the whole. The whole is the universal whole. The part is a part whole. The wholeness is not affected, not of the being of the part whole nor of the being of the universal whole - the universal wholeness is called the Brahman and the part wholeness is called the Atman.

Therefore whether the part be part of an atom, molecule, substance, material, matter - living or non living or virus it is both a part and an aspect of the whole, and therefore the whole. A drop in the water is not separate from the body of water - this in the ocean, sea, river, lake, pond, tank, stream, a glass in our hand or for that matter as moisture, dampness, steam or in the atmosphere. The water everywhere is the same water.

Now we come to the Atman. The whole atman is the universal atman or the Universal Being - the Brahman. The part whole - is what we refer to or call the Atman.

This is the essence of spiritualism.

This Universal Being is actually the Being of the Universal.

It manifests as being of presence / existence, existence, energy and cause of creation, destruction and change.
