The vehicle is designed in India and manufactured in India by Ford under the direction of DRDO for the Indian Army. (prototype).
Carrying a load of eight tons, this vehicle can climb mountains with a slope of 63 degrees. 725 grams of RDX or three H36 grenades attached to the tire or casing will not cause damage if it bursts. With just four lumens of light, the night vision device is set to see clearly up to three kilometers away. (A 35 W halogen head lamp bulb will provide 6000 lumens of light) Twelve men are stocked with enough oxygen, water, food and ammunition for 21 days by default.
According to the contract, Ford is not allowed to build or sell this vehicle anywhere else. However, Indian Army or Govt can export this vehicle.
