This is a narrative from a story I read.
A true to life story. A warning for all of us.
A policeman signalled me to stop as I took a right turn from Westetn Express Highway going towards Malad Station on my way home from Navi Mumbai.
He asked me to open the trunk of my car. I opened the trunk from inside. The policeman inspected the boot and said, “Ok Ok u may go.”
I started my car and drove off. Something struck my mind, when I saw one of the policemen in my rear view mirror talking on his phone.
I went a bit ahead took a service road and finding a good street-light stopped my car. Switching off the engine I went and opened my car-trunk.
Guess what !!! 😳 ... I was shocked to see two small zip-lock pouches with white crystals inside. I was numbed. I gathered courage and decided to throw it away. I thanked God for saving me from the rascals who laid a trap and made me a bait to be caught in a drug related case, and extort huge sums to free me.
The policeman must have informed their Bhai standing at the next check-point my car nimber to get hold of.
I was correct in my guess. Approx a kilometer later, I was stopped by another policeman. This time too I was asked to open my trunk.
Now I got down, took my car-keys in hand, went behind and opened the boot. He was puzzled and surprised on not finding anything.
A lesson for all
Please don’t open your car trunk from inside, for anyone, even at Malls. Always get-off, use your car keys to open the trunk with keys and permit searching under your own supervision.
